My heart sunk to the pits of my body today. We made so many plans to spend the summer and the rest of the year together. Our lives and ideals may be different, but that is why tolerance and patience exists. We’ve been through so much together over these years. You were my first love and shall always be. Things could have worked out, if you tried a little harder. All I have wanted is for you to put in half as much effort as I do. You wouldn’t call me to come over and be with you. But you would avoid speaking to me for x amount of days. I’ve dedicated 1155 days to us, but you don’t care. You did nothing when you saw me break down, didn’t even try to make it better. But it’s okay, I’ll grow from this experience. Graduation is on Friday and from there I start a new chapter in my life. I begin my journey in pursuing my dream of becoming a Veterinarian. At some point along the way, I shall be swept off my feet by someone who deserves me. I shall be a bigger and better version of what you used to know. You’ll miss me.
